Swampsoccer Championships 2007 in Isafjordur 3. - 5. August

The date has been set! We´ve moved the swampsoccer tournament to the weekend before tha date previously set. The reason is that the first weekend in August is the bank holiday in Iceland and people take a day off during Monday and that gives us the chance to play both Saturday and Sunday. It seems to be necessary measures to have two days to play because we´re expecting a lot of teams and we only have maximum four fields to use. We´re also planning other side events like a concert/bonfire on Saturday evening etc. See ya all next summer!

Swamp soccer in Iceland 2006 was held 12.August

The European Swamp soccer (or swamp football)championship took place in Isafjordur, Iceland 12.august.

The Icelandic Swampsoccer Association founded

On the 25. November, the Icelandic Swampsoccer association was founded in Ísafjörður. The main aim of the association is to organise the European Championships in swampsoccer in Ísafjörður Iceland.

The next project of the association will be the 2006 event which will be the biggest ever. We´re expecting about 40 teams at least. There will be more fields, better facilities for competitors and audience and more fun fun fun.
